Silkpay doesn’t take any commission on transactions, you can shop freely worldwide with your card. However, exchange rates or fees of the seller may apply.
Can I use my Silkpay card to send money?
For now, your Silkpay Virtual UnionPay Prepaid Card can only be used to make payments. Money transfer is not available currently.
Can I use the virtual Unionpay card to pay in brick and mortar stores?
No, you cannot use the card in physical stores. You can only use the card to pay on e-commerce websites.
You also cannot add the Virtual Unionpay to e-wallets such as WeChat or Apple.
How can I make payments with my virtual Unionpay card ?
You can use your virtual Unionpay card to shop online. On the checkout page:
Choose UnionPay, enter your virtual Unionpay card number and expiration date.
A confirmation code will be sent by text message to the mobile phone number provided to open the account.
